Alibudbud Recruited for Atimi Sales VP
Vancouver, British Columbia, December 12 2007 - Atimi Software announced the appointment of sales and marketing guru Romel Alibudbud to VP of Sales. Alibudbud comes to Atimi with 17 years of professional sales experience working for high-profile firms such as Oracle, Business Objects (formerly Crystal Decisions), and Computer Associates. With Alibudbud on board, Atimi will focus on generating new revenue opportunities through direct and indirect sales.

Alibudbud will be working on acquiring new accounts and creating a partner channel for Atimi. "In creating this leveraged sales model, Atimi is set to expand their reach thus generating more opportunities and sales."

Alibudbud brings a lifetime of professional sales experience to Atimi:
- He spent seven years selling outsourcing services with Automatic Data Processing, the world’s largest provider of business outsourcing services. Romel acquired 300 new customers utilizing ADP’s payroll, HR and tax services.
- He followed this with three years at Oracle Corporation, selling their Oracle Applications Suite, which included Financials, CRM, HRMS. He started the Oracle Applications Users Group in BC and spearheaded Oracle’s entry in the Business Intelligence market in Western Canada.
- He then spent three years at Crystal Decisions (now Business Objects) as Global Account Manager. In this capacity he negotiated a worldwide distribution agreement with PWC.
- In recent years, he was with Computer Associates and Infor Global Solutions. Infor is the 10th largest software company in the world, the third largest Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) company worldwide (after SAP and Oracle), and has been formed though the acquisition of 24 companies including SSA Global, GEAC, and Extensity by Golden Gate Capital, a VC company.
