Atimi Software, Inc. Ranked 17th Among British Columbia's Fastest-Growing Tech Companies
Vancouver, British Columbia, November 1 2006 - Atimi Software Inc. has been named one of BC's fastest-growing tech companies in a ranking conducted by the weekly business-to-business publication Business in Vancouver.
The poll appeard in the October 24th issue of Tech Report, a specialized publication of Business in Vancouver geared toward the tech industry. It was conducted in Agust and September of this year and listed the top 50 fastest-growing tech companies based on percentage of growth revenue between 2001 and 2005.
"Atimi has been steadily growing," said Steven Gully, Atimi's President. "Looking forward to 2007, I expect Atimi will have an excellent chance to improve upon this ranking."
Atimi Software, Inc. is a Vancouver-based cross-platform development company with extensive expertise in Macintosh, Windows and Linux programming and design.
Though the poll focuses on high-tech companies, it does not distinguish between product-based companies and service-based ones, such as Atimi. Medical diagnostic, communications and financial software companies were among those on the list, with web-hosting and pharmaceutical companies taking the top two spots. "We surveyed tech companies of all sizes, and they generally had revenues in excess of one million dollars," said Richard Chu, lead researcher for the Business in Vancouver article. " The survey was two-staged; We requested submissions (for information) from companies and we also conducted our own surveys of companies which we knew about," Chu added.
