Atimi and Edge Health Solutions Take Clinical Software to a Whole New Level
Vancouver, British Columbia, May 9 2008 - Atimi Software continues to develop the next generation of Edge Health Solutions' clinical software. Edge Health cites a deep trust in the Atimi/Edge relationship.

The current release of Edge Management Platform (emp*) products include all the necessary software tools for running a modern dental or medical practice: a scaleable electronic client database with scheduling and reporting capabilities, and a billing component complete with an ITRANS interface that streamlines communication with insurance companies.
The next generation of emp* products introduces an invaluable resource to healthcare professionals—a multifaceted Clinical Chartbook. Practitioners can store X-rays, digital photos and DICOM image sets with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), and they can use an Axiotron™ ModBook™ or a Mac with a Wacom® tablet to add clinical annotations to any image. The text is searchable with Mac OS X Spotlight, and the entire database can be exported so practitioners can share clinical notes with other caregivers and researchers in their industry thereby expediting prognosis and treatment, and clinical research. The ModBook™ also introduces the first portable solution for identifying problem areas to patients, and getting on the spot sign-off for clinical procedures; and integration of TreAura Reminder software automates appointment reminders.
