Placing a “virtual shop” in the hands of Canadian iPhone and iPod Touch users

The Canucks App was designed to connect fans to the team and to each other - it seems to be working as the iPhone application is rapidly closing in on 60,000 downloads. Partnering with Canucks generated iPhone and Blackberry native applications that are not only a perfect brand extension of the team, but the application also provides great content and features drawn directly from the club as well as the NHL.
"Our goal was to create a iPhone app that not only allowed the fans to connect with the Canucks, but do it in a way that took full advantage of the unique iPhone platform. Based on the success we’ve had out of the gate, I think we accomplished that."
