BC Lions app breaks Top 25 Free Sports Apps in Canadian App Store

The Official BC Lions app, which was released in early October, broke the Top 25 list of Top Free Sports Apps in the Canadian App Store. The BC Lions app is the most comprehensive and highest ranking CFL app available in the Canadian App Store. Other CFL teams to release iOS apps are the Edmonton Eskimos and Saskatchewan Roughriders, ranked 35th and 61th respectively.

Montreal Canadiens app hits #3 in Canadian App Store

The Montreal Canadiens app shot to the #3 spot in the Top Free Sports Apps category of the Canadian App Store the same day it was released. Joining the Canadiens app in the Top 20 Free Sports Apps category are other Atimi-developed apps such as; the Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames, and BC Lions.

Apple recently added a quick link on the Canadian App Store homepage to their new Hockey Apps category. Within the category, apps are further broken down into groups by; official team apps; video, news and stats apps; apps for coaches; and hockey gaming apps.
