The Canucks app was featured on Breakfast Television last week, where they talked about the new version coming out for iPhone, Android and Blackberry.
Some of the new features include fan photo sharing where users can take photos at the games and upload them to the app themselves. With the new version, fans can see real time save and face off percentages during games with live stat updates. Canucks fans will also be able to catch all the pre and post playoff game news and highlights with live streaming of Sportsnet Connected’s Playoff Show.

However a secondary display around the existing screen or home button would provide added screen real estate for marketers to more in-context advertising.
