Best Practices for Apple's New Renewable Subscription Model

Companies are ranked based on number of employee, and the list will appear in the March 22, 2011 edition of Business in Vancouver. Yoga at Atimi

Atimi received a visit from the Vancouver Sun last Friday, when reporter Darah Hansen heard about our Friday noon-hour yoga sessions. For the past month, Vertical Sales Manager, Trevor Westerlund has been teaching beginner yoga to all interested Atimi staff.

The welcomed mid-day break is a chance for employees to get up and re-charge themselves. The general sentiment has been that employees feel energized after the sessions and end up being more productive the rest of the day!

Using your app icon for marketing

It is undeniable that the overall look and appeal of an application icon is extremely important. When browsing the App Store, on both a mobile device and desktop, all you really have to guide you is the name of the app and the icon. Based on those two pieces of information you have to decide if the app seems interesting enough to read more about and possibly download. Given that more than 50% of applications are purchased from an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and not a desktop, the icon plays a much bigger role in application search and selection.
